Leica aren’t a brand to take design lightly. In fact, their neat retro stylings and famous lens technology constantly puts them at top of any camera wishlist for the camera conieusser. The Leica X2 Paul Smith limited edition takes the Leica style one step further. The bold custom colours are courtesy of Paul Smith, alongside the sketch of a lightbulb which points to the pop-up flash. An optional leather carry case complements the trademark design.
In terms of technology, this edition remains identical to the Leica X2 – APS-C format, CMOS image sensor with 16.5 megapixels and a Leica Elmarit 24 mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens.
Revealed at the Photokina show this week in Cologne, the limited edition runs to 1500 individually numbered products, launches next month and will cost £2000.
